 The Tiny Chef Show (TV Series 2022–2025) - IMDb

Tiny Chef was one of the reasons I had decided to felted stop motion. He is a beloved social media icon currently. Known for his humor, and cooking shows. 

Something that always sticks out to me is the use of audio in these small animation shorts. The foley created and the little voice makes the animation more fun and humorous. I've put foley and small voices to my characters as well, because I've seen in the process that it's the small things that make animation more enjoyable to watch. 

In a lot of his videos, he's singing along to music and having fun. The music truly does effect the tone of the animation, and that's why I'm using a small background audio to guide the emotions felt through the video.

 Andrea Love is a stop motion artist that is well versed in animation and directing. Her work has a wide range, from advertisements, to small clips to watch on YouTube. Her process is unique and her work reflects an art that is rarely used in movies now. She uses 12 frames per second, and uses physical puppets on sets that she creates herself out of fiber. I find her work very inspiring because it is a niche type of artistry or craft that gives a nostalgic feeling to the viewer. A lot of the time we are seeing drawn animation, and even claymation, but fibers being felted together to create characters isn't used as much as it should be.   Stop motion is a form of animation that is photos taken, and pushed together to make props move in a film. This can be done in many ways, but Adobe helps give ideas, tutorials,  and tips on different ways to do this, for different outcomes. There is claymation, pixilation, object motion, and more! Each of these different types are sequences of photography to create a flip book of creativity. Stop motion is one of the most cost effective ways to create a film, because all you need is a camera, mount, and an object to move. Adobe goes through every aspect of stop motion, and what benefits come with each kind.   Paranorman was a childhood movie I watched during halloween. Movies like this, and most older animations were made of clay. They are stop-motion and allowed each scene to be carefully crafted by facial movement, body, and the environment.  During the process of creating the stop-motion, they create different clay versions of the character's face to show a sequence that looks like it's real!
